Locroja Prospect is located in Southern Peru in the region of Huancavelica in the province of Huaytara. The concession is accessible via the Pan American South Highway.
The concession covers 200 hectares and no work has been completed to date. A report from Ingemmet presents the following regional geology of the Santiago de Chocorvos quadrangle.
The geology of the Locroja Prospect belongs to Arequipa segment sector (according to Cobbing, Pitcher, Taylor), which is part of Batolito de la Costa compound by plutons (Tonalite-monzonitagranodiorite-granite) and middle bodies of diorites and hipabisales. The property is covered by volcanic rocks of the Superunidad Incahuasi, of acid composition (granite to tonalite) of medium grain, presenting contact metamorphism; towards Huaytará – Chaulisma sector.
